PhD student | University of Trieste
Nikita is a PhD student at the University of Trieste within the MAWI doctoral network. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Heidelberg with a focus on statistical physics and condensed matter theory.
His research focuses on the modelling and characterization of settings in which ultracold atoms are confined in suitably DMD-engineered and holographic traps, with the main goals of studying the feasibility of elementary quantum circuit building blocks, such as waveguides and connection between them, needed for trapped atom interferometers.
